CTG is rapidly growing our ServiceNow practice and service offerings. Were seeking a strong ServiceNow Technical Architect to join our team.
Summary:
Leading technical initiatives for both internal and external ServiceNow clients in addition to supporting, developing, configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow environments. Deploying new releases and/or enhancements, performing unit tests, maintaining, and supporting the operational functions, monitoring usage, and performing daily administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for ServiceNow engagements
Assist and technically lead functional teams including building request items, tasks, workflows, etc.
Collaborate with client and internal teams to validate technical requirements
Design and document technical design, as needed, on stories to meet client requirements
Deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include implementation of the ServiceNow platform, core system, and other ServiceNow-centric applications
Design and develop 3rd party integration with ServiceNow using approaches common to ServiceNow (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.)
Duties
Provide subject matter expertise and support to sales pursuits, opportunity responses, proposal development and other marketing material
Bring CTG’s experience including other pertinent solutions to the table that fit within client gaps
Create a solution with valid and viable design for the client; document the elements of relevant cost
Build contacts with peers and the external market (e.g. membership with an external IT user group) to share experiences and enhance the CTG brand
Collaborate with other CTG solution architects to share experiences, cross-sell opportunities and involve them as needed on customer proposals and delivery
Support talent management in recruiting, managing and retention of the right resources necessary for successful delivery of the solution
Perform other duties as required to fulfill responsibilities
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in two (2) areas (required)
ServiceNow Suite Certification (required)
ITIL V3 or V4 Foundations Certification (required)
Minimum of five (5) years experience in an Information Services environment, minimum of two (2) years in ServiceNow development, minimum of one (1) year in ServiceNow consultative engagement technical ownership, development experience in at least ten (10) implementations.
Competence in relevant business processes, cross-industry solutions with excellent organizational, presentation, negotiation, and analysis skills
In depth experience working on proposals with knowledge of financials, client value, best-in-breed technology, requirements mapping to solution offering and presentation skills to client upper management and executives
Recognized leader within defined area of expertise, capable of identifying and resolving business issues through solutions and services
Collaborative, effective time and multitask management working with peers and leadership on solution development and maturity while billable at customers & supporting sales
Demonstrated ability to provide architectural and methodology oversight for concurrent delivery projects

Ability to lead technical consultants / developers throughout the duration of an engagement
Ability to provide best practice leadership and adaptation to a technical team
Excellent solution-designing capabilities
Ability to conduct technical workshops and compile, construct, and deliver business-centric solutions
Understanding of ServiceNow functionality and how ITIL processes can be automated in ServiceNow
Ability to configure & customize to meet business goals and objectives
Development experience with a service-oriented architecture
Deep knowledge of JavaScript with an understanding of XML, JavaScript Libraries (AngularJS), and HTTP
Experience creating and promoting ServiceNow update sets
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, knowledgeably, and personably
Ability to comprehensively analyze problems and apply critical thinking to derive a resolution
Experience in customer service, skills and committed to meeting expectations of all customers
Ability to acquire new skills quickly and learn on the job
Strong desire to innovate, flexibility with minimal context-switching
Strong collaboration and team-building skills and a commitment to continuous service improvement
Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines
