CTG is in need of anIBM AIX System Administratoropening for client in Buffalo, New York for a short term assignment.

Contract Length:1 month

Location:Remote

Job Requirements:

  • Need of an expert in IBM AIX 6.1 to assess the state of a test environment utilized by a medical records system. The primary objective is to bring this test system back to operational status in order to restore our database backups.

  • The IBM AIX System Administrator will need to be able to set up and maintain the AIX systems, installing software upgrades, working with the other infrastructure staff and application administrators in installing new hardware as it becomes available, and replacing defective hardware such as disk drives

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of IBM AIX, preferably version 6.1

  • Ability to set up and maintain AIX systems

The expected hourly rate for this position ranges from $40-$50. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
