At KBR, we are seeking an experienced Simulator Instructor Operator supporting the United States Marine Corp (USMC) and Technical Integration Center (TECOM) program at Quantico, VA. KBR is the prime contractor providing Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) driver's training, simulation training, classroom instruction and schoolhouse support activities. The training program aims to equip government personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate the integrated systems effectively. It encompasses various elements, including hands-on training sessions and theoretical modules. Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide simulated JLTV Driver's training to students and regional simulation users with special emphasis on proper use of all JLTV systems, emergency procedure training, and instrument procedures.
Develop and maintain mission training scenarios for regional users.
Develop/maintain student training records on formal course instruction.
Conduct academic platform instruction for the Instructor Operator course
Develop update and publish schedules via an electronic database.
Track schedule changes and prepare monthly reports for simulators and hardware/software maintenance performed on JLTV trainers.
Coordinate with unit managers to schedule formal course simulation time.
Perform updates to the training schedule due to trainer maintenance schedules.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a US citizen, applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years' experience in any field; at least 1 year must be management experience. Possessing 9 years of professional work experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Must have proficient writing skills
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
Must have ability to use MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases)
Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
Must have customer service and teamwork attitude
