Position Description
Serco is looking for aScheduling Analyst IIwho is organized, and experienced in analyzing and evaluating shipbuilding, or ship design project schedules and provides program and project managers information to be used in planning, monitoring, and resource allocation.
In this role, you will:
Develop plans, including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements.
Assists with and provides input to the design, development and maintenance of detailed schedules for implementation, developmental and operational systems.
Provides advanced analytical support to operational team.
May serve as a technical/scientific resource on project, updating project management models and forecasts, and developing detailed schedules. Assists in keeping schedule current using automated tools.
Modifies schedule as appropriate and maintains status on linkages and dependencies with related projects.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Requires a High school diploma or GED.Must have experience in 5,000 hours spent in the specialized area professional project scheduling within the last five consecutive years degree or a Bachelor of Science degree with 3,500 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project management
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
10% travel
Working both in office or onsite at the naval base
2 years of MS Project software experience is a must
Proficiency with MS Office suite

Quantitative and qualitative schedule analysis (for example, schedule performance index, baseline execution index, float analysis)
