The CMM Operator is responsible for efficiently producing parts to specification.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Inspects product on a Coordinate Measure Machine (CMM), using a pre-made program based off of part prints to determine if product meets customers' needs- Visually inspects product, looking for casting defects or visual imperfections in the finished machined surfaces- Communicates with machine operators to provide the measurement information of inspected parts so that operators can make proper adjustments to the machines- Rejects parts which do not conform to specification- Sandblasts parts in controlled environment using a respirator- Coats parts using Moly Coating in controlled environment using a respirator

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school): Preferred Field of Study: Technical (Programming or Machining Apprenticeship)
Experience:
2 plus years of experience in Coordinate Measure Machine (CMM) and Zeiss Machine: Required
Computer Skills:
Basic Microsoft office products (Excel, Word): Required

Other Requirements:
Complete medical physical with release to wear respirator May travel domestically for training.
