GENERAL SUMMARY:
Plan and lead the activities of all stores within the assigned area of operation, including full profit and loss responsibility, while acting within the scope of company objectives and policies to accomplish goals.
DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Lead district team by ensuring:

Fair administration of human resources policies & practices.
Exceptional guest service through development of fun and friendly stores.
Annual sales growth that meets or exceeds company targets through exceptional operations and efficient flow processes.
All tools are effectively utilized in each store and market resulting in superior visual merchandising presentation, product management and signing/pricing execution.
Effective planning & execution of company objectives.
Maximization of performance & productivity through a commitment to sensible store scheduling.
Total development of human capital through proactive recruitment, selection and education of team members and customers.
Protection of company assets through loss prevention and expense efficiencies.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within operational area (i.e., distribution flow improvements, merchandising display efforts, store growth and real estate site selection, recruiting strategy, training and development priorities, employee relations, customer service, systems implementation, etc.).
Consistent and effective communication of company priorities to store teams.
Lead teams to train and develop strong visual merchandising presentations and product placements.
Develop teams to execute large amounts of signing and pricing workload to foster value statements to the guests.
Utilize technology to train and develop strong communication avenues to keep teams informed of operational tasks.
Develop teams to ensure consistent execution of pOpshelf expectations to provide exceptionally clean and organized stores for our guests and teams.
Foster growth and development of team members to create an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers and workplace for our team.
Ensure inclusive and on-going Company recognition programs are in place that foster a fun and rewarding environment for team members.
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task current district needs along with the ability to evolve the pOpshelf brand.

WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations in retail, grocery or convenience store operations with full P&L responsibility.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
-Big-box- and Boutique-style retail management and/or equivalent education and experience combination will be considered.
