Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Clerical Support Specialist to perform skilled clerical duties within our client's banking services department. This role requires simple analysis, expanded use of judgment, and interaction with vendors and internal partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for exception processing, resolution of complex issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform exception processing and conduct research to resolve complex issues.
Interact with vendors to support procedural issues.
Interpret legal and bank documents for internal processing.
Ensure tasks are completed in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Manage multiple systems, business, and product lines.
Collaborate with internal partners and management on procedural issues.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Manage and process exceptions and conduct research.
Support vendor interactions and document interpretation.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Handle tasks across various systems and product lines.
Address procedural issues in collaboration with internal teams.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of two years relevant work experience.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Associate's Degree.
Three to five years of office experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
