We are seeking a Specialist Engineer - Project/Product for our Orlando, Florida location. This individual will plan and perform Electronic and Mechanical program tasks in conjunction with program management. Under limited general direction, the candidate will implement design and analysis tasks, perform special studies, lead IRAD tasks and hardware/test requirements. The candidate will also lead major technical design reviews with AR Coleman and their customers, lead MRBs/FRBs, support Risk Boards, support Change Control Boards, and provide technical leadership in problem investigations/resolutions. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate activities under their management to the Program Office and the Engineering community as well as manage schedule, support budgets, interface with procurement and manufacturing. Conceive and plan projects involving the development of new methods to attain objectives.
Provide direction in problem investigations and resolution across functional areas.
Lead investigation activity to resolve engineering and manufacturing issues.
Prepare technical and design requirements in support of project goals.
Keep current in relevant technologies and methods in support of project assignments. Provide technical guidance to less senior project engineers and project support personnel
