Overview
The Director of Enterprise Architecture (EA) will act as a thought leader and key advisor to Audacy IT leadership and other executives on technology and architecture topics. Responsible for technology and process architecture design and review in context of desired business outcomes.
The Director of EA will liaise with Enterprise Infrastructure, Applications, and SecOps teams in architecting an integrated technology platform. People, process and technology designed solutions aligned with established technology vision, mission, and goals. This individual is responsible for gathering business requirements, researching, architecting, prototyping, and working with vendors on integration and development of a range of systems. This role will be both a resource for IT and SecOps teams and a leader in driving overall enterprise system development.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Responsible for driving secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise solution roadmaps in alignment with corporate growth initiatives, ensuring systems are designed to achieve uptime and availability requirements, appropriate monitoring, automated resiliency, appropriate security, and enterprise level performance
Partners with peers and team members inside and outside Information Technology to translate business and technical requirements into architectural frameworks and solution designs leveraging enterprise platforms, while ensuring security and operational integrity are incorporated during initial design and sustainable
Develops practical yet advanced solutions to maximize technology and business success
Provides technical leadership and oversight to ensure alignment with the original proposed architecture and design
Proactively identifies and suggests architectural improvements to as-is systems and solutions
Participates in project scoping, resource planning, and timeline estimation
Supports multiple projects simultaneously
Responsible for Service Transition on delivered projects, ensuring appropriate governance processes and standard operating procedures are in place to turn over architectural solutions for appropriate platform maintenance and support teams
Providesmentoring, training, and support for platform owners, engineers, and administrators to develop their technical, business, and professional skills
Acts as an enabler of EA standardization across the enterprise leveraging The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and Business Process Management (BPM) industry standards and best practices. Defines architectural standards, and guiding principles in alignment with business, security, privacy and IT standards
Acts as technical escalation contact for the resolution of Problems with transitioned services and unresolvable by build, maintenance, and support teams
Qualifications

Required/Preferred:
Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science), Master's degree preferred
10+ years relevant experience as a Systems Engineer / Architect working in Hybrid, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and multi-cloud environments
TOGAF Certification preferred, required within 12 months
Experience in developing high-level architectural design and technology roadmaps, and then driving hands-on development of those roadmaps
Expert in developing detailed network system diagrams, flow diagrams, and state diagrams
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal skills
You possess leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups and good negotiation skills.
Ability to tailor communication to the target audience to achieve desired results
Ability to quickly research new topics and technologies and understand how to apply them to our problem space.
You can juggle multiple projects and change priorities as the business needs change
