Mythics is looking for several remote Mid Level Java Developers to perform the following duties:
Provide support and/or guidance to the entire project team during the design,development, and testing phases.
Development and maintenance of application scripts; troubleshooting and resolving technical problems; and adhering to application IT security requirements/tasks.
- Must be a US Citizen to obtain the necessary clearance
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency, with a minimum of 2 years' experience, in developing scalable and maintainable J2EE applications within an Oracle 19 web, application, and database tiers.
- Must possess understanding and experience participating in development efforts through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in adhering to development standards and best practices.
- Must possess a clear understanding of DevOps tools, structure, and processes.
- Experience in web technologies including the following: HTML 5, XML, AJAX,JavaScript, JSP, and other OCIO approved technologies.
- Ability to develop application data models and work with existing complex data models and object relational database mappings.
- Strong experience utilizing relational databases (Oracle 19c) along with Structured Query Language (SQL) to create and/or maintain queries, routines and stored procedures.
- Experience using Oracle BI Publisher software preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
