PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Operations Learning Design Partner at our Omaha, Nebraska or Papillon, Nebraska location. The primary purpose of this role is to design and develop engaging, soft skill and technical learning experiences. This individual will create engaging learning content using effective adult learning principles through various multimedia delivery channels. Learning content may be delivered as stand-alone modules or as part of instructor- led in person and virtual sessions. In addition to design and development work, this individual will facilitate learning sessions as needed.

  • Deliver high quality learning experiences through various multimedia delivery channels enterprise wide.

  • Design and develop interactive and engaging learning modules that will be accessed by all levels of PenFed employees.

  • Create eLearning modules, graphic-oriented learning materials, and video that support and enhance PenFed's learning curriculum.

  • Stay informed of industry tools, trends and resources that might enhance PenFed's learning curriculum.

  • Partner closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts in the design and development of trainings to meet the various needs of the organization.

  • Consult with business leaders on specific learning needs that may be needed and develop and monitor the business leader's expectations of the outcome of the trainings.

  • Identify success metrics, and conduct pre- and post- training evaluations to test and monitor progress in learning, suggest and implement changes to make learning more effective as necessary.

  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of learning programs and/or learner performance to ensure learning objectives are achieved.

  • Facilitate learning for both new-hire and existing employee population(s), keeping in line with organizational compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with Learning and Development leadership to align learning goals with overall corporate and departmental objectives.

  • Maintain multiple existing vendor relationships for line of business learning programs as well as sourcing for new vendors and building substantial relationships as needed.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of operating policies and procedures, and PenFed's products and services.

  • Manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously and effectively, keeping on task with the demands of the organizations learning needs.

  • Manage general classroom responsibilities (supplies, setup, and materials).

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business or a related field is required. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in curriculum development is required.

  • Experience with Salesforce, Penguin, Evolve and other PenFed systems is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Windows-based software packages including MS-Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.

  • Experience with all components of Articulate 360, specifically Storylineto build learning assets is required.

  • Experience with video creation software such as Camtasia is required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills is required.

  • Experience using learning management systems required.

  • Solid understanding and proven application of adult learning principles within the context of blended learning solutions.

  • Ability to lead projects from start to finish with minimal direction and provide input and learning expertise in the design of projects.

  • Web-based authoring or design skills required.

Licenses and Certifications

CPTD or APTD certification is preferred

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Travel

Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.
