Role Definition

The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) has an opening for a Regulatory Compliance Lead for the emissions compliance team within the Emissions & Power Systems Regulatory and Compliance department. The Regulatory Compliance Lead will support Progress Rail and collaborate with engine and locomotive product groups to ensure worldwide emissions regulatory requirements are met. This position supports product regulatory compliance programs through various activities that assist in managing compliance risk and ensuring compliance with applicable product regulatory requirements for intended markets.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure regulatory compliance marking requirements are met, including design and installation for all Progress Rail applications.

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for processes and tools used to manage product regulatory compliance risks.

  • Collaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure the development, validation and production of product that meets applicable product regulatory requirements.

  • Provide emissions marking regulatory guidance to the business on locomotive emissions compliance marking

  • Support Progress Rail Locomotive and Progress Rail Services product development programs through Voice of the Regulator (VoR) processes to ensure that emissions compliance marking requirements are identified early in each program
