Overview
MANCON LLC has partnered with Maintenance & Logistics Management Services, Inc., to provide Cross Dock & Warehousing services in support of Defense Depot Susquehanna, PA.
Responsibilities
Work involves most of the following.
Verifying materials (or merchandised against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages)
Routing materials to prescribed staging/storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods;
Managing and taking inventory of staged/storage materials;
Examining staged/stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage;
Removing material from staged/storage and preparing it for shipment
Will operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties
Exclude worker whose primary duties involve shipping and receiving work, order filling, or operating forklifts
Qualifications
Valid Driver's License
Obtain and maintain a forklift license
Knowledge of the operation of hand or power trucks
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word
Knowledge of logistics/supply procedures
Organizational skills
Current COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) or more years' experience in a warehouse enviorment.
Obtain and maintain a Forklift License
Physical Requirements
Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
