The Associate Manager, Connections Planning is a crucial position which requires an individual to work well within a team and be prepared for a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. This individual is expected to show resourcefulness, exhibit accountability, and understand their role well enough to work independently and demonstrate initiative. The Associate Manager, Connections Planning is expected to be an active participant in meetings and day-to-day interactions with an increasing level of contribution as the experience builds. This individual is expected to contribute in channel planning, implementing and maintaining of cross channel media plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely supporting the Manger, participate in the development of and management of cross channel communications plans
Liaise between Marketing team to ensure plans are on schedule and elements are completed
Participate in marketing briefing process to ensure proper consumer connections in the planning process, including clearly defining the role of consumer touchpoints to achieve the brands objectives
Development of brand activity briefs for media, owned channels and agency partners that align to a brands goals and objectives
Partner with media, CRM, and insights teams to research, profile, and identify relevant audiences for brand content
Partner with owned / paid media and insights teams to measure and optimize campaigns
Assist in development of cross channel media plans that specify which channels to use to effectively reach the target audience
Partner with the media analytics team to measure impact of ongoing campaigns and overall plans
Use measurement results to continually optimize and improve plans
Work with brand to implement a learning agenda and testing roadmap based on the brands objectives, insights, and key challenges
Review industry trades for new sites, innovative and creative ad units and technologies, as well as competitive information
Monitor cultural and social trends that affect Inspire Brands business
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
4 Year / Bachelors Degree
3+ years of relevant experience in marketing and / or media
Demonstrated experience in building and managing high performing teams
Demonstrated experience in problem solving and managing multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated experience blending new ideas / innovation (qualitative), data (quantitative), and strategy to develop best-in-class plans
Experience working as a Comms Planner, Strategic Planner, Connections Planner, or Audience Planner Preferred
