If you want to work on a cutting edge Air Force program, Serco has a great opportunity for you! As a Senior Logistics Engineer, you will be supporting the B-21 Strike Systems Division (AFLCMC/WBS) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
The B-21 Raider is the future backbone of the nation's bomber force, holding any target at risk and providing lethal penetrating deep-strike capability. You will be part of the DoD's benchmark acquisition team, providing bold and innovative solutions in product support and logistics engineering by working with the depot, the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, the prime contractor, and subcontractors.
In this role, you will:
Utilize your knowledge in the field level aircraft maintenance environment, product support, and supply chain management
Operate modeling and simulation software for the Logistics environment and Operations & Sustainment Elements
Analyze modeling inputs for cost, manpower, facilities, aircraft availability, and supply chain management at the individual unit/base level
Identify product support risk areas and inform Government leadership with decision quality data for early life-cycle decisions
Support development and review of the full range of program documentation, including product support strategy and life-cycle sustainment plans
Support requirements development, allocation, and verification
Develop technical and business data necessary to build and present program briefs
Support program meetings, working groups, and technical and business reviews
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A SECRET security clearance with Background Investigation within the last six years or on Continuous Evaluation. Ability to obtain Special Access Programs (SAP) access and apply for a TOP SECRET clearance
A Bachelor's Degree in engineering or data analytics
20 (twenty) years of relevant DoD experience
Additional desired experience and skills:
TOP SECRET security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and background investigation current within the past 6 (six) years or on Continuous Evaluation
Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Data analytics
Experience as an aircraft maintenance manager or aircraft technician
2 (two) years SAP experience accrued within the last four years
5 (five) years in a DoD acquisition program as either a sub-system or system lead engineer within a recognized ACAT I (or equivalent) program
