Overview
Frontier Technology Inc.'s Technology group looking for a Systems Administrator to augment an existing team in Dahlgren, VA. This role supports an existing, long-held contract to provide Command and Control (C2) system software development, design, implementation, test and configuration management support. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle and cyber security and systems administration.
Responsibilities
Linux and Windows system administration
Application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to Windows and Linux based operating systems
Producing and updating Bodies of Evidence (BoEs) such as Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM), Hardware/Software Lists, and Accreditation Boundaries
Interpretation and action planning of ACAS scan results
Ability to work in a team environment to potentially include duties in other technical disciplines
Education/Qualifications
Requires proficient knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. That education and experience could be satisfied through having a Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; 2 years post-Secondary / Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Active Secret security clearance, clearable to TS/SCI
Current CompTIA Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
Knowledgeable in the full software development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to deployment
Strong written and verbal skills
Meticulous organization of open software tasks
Demonstrated proficiency with the C-programming language
Familiar with programming using an Object Oriented Programming language (i.e. C++, java, C#, etc.)
Familiar with scripting languages (i.e. Bash, c-Shell, etc.)
Thorough understanding of software engineering principles and industry best practices, including Agile development
