Serco Inc. has a career opportunity for a Director of Business Capture to join our team.
Come join our team where you will be responsible for winning new business opportunities -medium to large capture efforts that are highly complex and strategic. Our successful candidate will have accountability to shape and win new business across the enterprise and will be responsible for the leadership and execution of the full capture lifecycle across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
In this role, you will:
Plan, control, and direct all capture activities for assigned opportunities- identifying and planning investments, as well as managing capture schedules
Develop close partnerships across the Serco organization- engaging with internal and external teams to influence, mentor, and motivate in high-pressure situations
Lead cross-functional teams in developing and driving a winning capture plan and strategy- including identifying customer requirements, leading collaborative capture workshops and planning sessions, and developing white papers and RFI responses
Oversee competitive assessments, develop pricing, teaming and solutions strategies and deliver company messages to key customer stakeholders
Work closely with senior leadership to balance resource priorities to ensure continual, consistent progress through the capture lifecycle, including solutions, staffing, teaming, and pricing elements of the capture planCommunicate capture status to senior leadership for gate reviews and other briefings
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
. Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience (years of experience in lieu of degree).
. Capture experience with Federal, Civilian, and Canadian governments is strongly preferred.
