Summary You will serve as a Contract Surveillance Representative (QA) in the FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE (FLCJ) of NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVSUP) with duty at MERIDIAN, MS. NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will perform the duties of Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), warehousing, and postal contracts at FLCJ Meridian. You will serve as technical representation for the Meridian SERVMART contract operation. You will serve as the Official Mail Manager for Naval Air Station Meridian and tenant commands. You will create purchase requests for supplies and service utilizing the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a knowledge of established general business practices, characteristics, and use of equipment, products or property to perform analytical work involved in the monitoring of hazardous material supply contracts and/or postal contracts by assisting in the conduct of contract surveillance in order to verify that the contractor is fulfilling a contract. Qualifying experience includes the following: 1. Documenting performance for the contract record 2. Assist in providing technical direction and guidance with respect to the specifications or statement of work 3. Monitoring the contractor's performance under the contract, and review, sign and forward contractor invoices to the Contracting Officer and other parties for prompt payment. 4. OR I have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree directly related to the position being filled.
