We are looking for a Wafer Process Technician to join our wafer fab of Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW Company in Camarillo, CA. As a Process Technician, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability, enthusiasm, and will possess an attitude that embodies ODC's core values.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Required a safety training to have basic understanding of chemical safety and handling.
Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering process and stay informed of any changes in procedures.
Prepares wafers for experimentation to include cleaning, etching, and dicing.
Load wafers, prepare reactor for experimentation, and clean reactors (Furnace).
Operate reactor to perform thin film process.
Conduct wafer inspection, complete necessary reworks and/or assisting in handling of abnormal events that occur.
Load processed wafers, substrates into dicing saw to cut them into the segments (Dicing)
Monitor performance of process system and perform minimum troubleshooting.
Recover tool condition from regular maintain or trouble shooting to provide high quality production line.
Interface with requestors, understand their detail requirement, and communicate on results; help lab on monitoring wafer in process (WIP) and maintaining throughput.
Crossover-training of different job function is required (e.g. furnace to photolithography)
Coordinate with supervisor or engineers on wafer evaluations.
Assist in executing experimental plans and in subsequent data collection and analysis.
Minimum education with high school diploma and any chemistry class taken is a plus.
Basic fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills in a plus (will provide a training)
Ability to remain a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation.
Committed, attentive, positive, multi-tasking attitude, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glass and gloves.
