Hobart Food Machines is seeking a Systems Administrator/IT Analyst to design, configure, and support infrastructure technologies. The selected candidate will research and recommend suitable technologies and assist in the coordination and leadership of higher-level projects in support of business objectives. This position will travel between locations in Troy, Hillsboro, and Sidney Ohio.
. BA or BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline; or appropriate technical experience in lieu of degree.
. 4+ years of experience maintaining similar responsibilities
. Must be customer oriented.
. Effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including listening.
. Must be adaptable, flexible, organized and act with a sense of urgency.
. Must have demonstrated analytical/problem-solving, project management/task planning, technical risk assessment, creativity/innovation, and technical leadership skills.
. Must be able to make sound, logical judgments using deductive reasoning, attention to detail; understands the cause and effect of such decisions.
. Self-starter; works with minimal supervision.
. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Environments, including virtualization.
. Knowledge of IP network infrastructures, trouble shooting and monitoring
. Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory security environment.
. Knowledge of network and Internet security environments
. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server environment.
. Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery best practices
. Knowledge of software distribution best practices

. Knowledge of ERP systems
. Knowledge of CAD Systems and CAD Data Management
