About the Role:

As a Sr Manager for the People Platform, you will work with our Payroll, People Operations and Centers of Excellence teams across the US and Canada. You will be an expert for Payroll, Benefits and Vendor systems and workstreams.
This role reports to the Process Tower Lead and will work in close partnership with other functions, such as Finance, D&T and Business Operations stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
Partner closely with People Leaders, People Systems and Finance teams to define integrated processes, provide solutions or work through issues related to Payroll and Benefits.
Create and implement testing strategy and develop testing scripts for M&A and other business activities, including enhancements to vendor interface files, patches, and fix the current system set-up.
Assess change requests to process, policy, system or operation in Payroll, Benefits and Time & Attendance, to identify risks and provide recommendations for implementation.
Ensure relevant documentation like business requirements are created, functional design documents are reviewed and supporting test scripts and SOP, handbooks, and work instructions, etc. are updated.
Contribute to People Data Governance ownership, including data standardization, data lineage and participates to define data quality rules and metrics.
Investigate issues, general issues or service failures for commonality, to understand root causes and deliver solutions in conjunction with other functional teams and/or vendors, including the People Service Centers, People Systems or other CBRE Corporate partners.
Evaluate business processes, highly engaged with the business on the requirements and alignment to needs, uncovering areas for improvement and working with implementation partners and technology partners on developing and implementing solutions. Be the key point of contact for requirement gathering and act as a liaison between business and technology.
Suggest and manages process improvements to improve the speed to deliver and the quality of the deliverables.
Effectively coordinates interdependencies with multiple ongoing initiatives.
Manage competing resources and priorities.

10+ years of experience with HR, Payroll & Benefits processes including a detailed understanding of controls, pay and benefits policies and procedures.
A minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
Extensive Project Management experience or Accreditation, with implementation background.
Business Process improvement or re-engineering focus, (LEAN or Six Sigma) with experience delivering standardization and efficiency outcomes.
Experience working with outsourced payroll vendors like ADP, strong vendor management experience.
Experience with managing key stakeholder relationships to improve and enhance operational effectiveness and the overall service delivery of the payroll function for the business.
Strong Payroll, Time and Labor / ADP / Workforce Dimensions (Kronos expertise) with good knowledge of core, end to end payroll and time and labor processes.
Experience working with organizations where Unions support Pay and leave policy design, configuration and operation.
Ability to think critically and strategically to solve problems with practical solutions.
Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and balance multiple issues and assignments simultaneously and communicate at all levels in the organization.
Customer-service oriented approach to problem solving and gathering feedback to determine continuous improvements.
