APS-3: Material Coordinator

The Material Coordinator will:
Learn and comply with all regulations/requirements at APS-3
Complete all required training promptly
Log all work requests given immediately in spreadsheet
Prepare folders for all work requests and update as work is completed
Organize folders as directed; all workstations will be standardized
Update spreadsheet with statuses daily
Research parts and services and request approvals
Communicate with maintenance shops regarding requests
Request vendor information by email and over the phone
Order parts by various methods
Track parts and request status updates
Coordinate with vendor &/or corporate regarding any scheduling or documentation required
Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, processing returns as required
Cost items procured in G-Army
- Prepare documentation for materials to be receipted by LP process in system
- Prepare materials and documentation for driver to take to supply for issuance
- Prepare pcard reconciliations
- Finalize work folders and scan
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, pickup truck, etc. as needed on site
- Pick up parts off site as needed if driver is not available
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government issued Secret Security Clearance and ma a Secret clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract.
Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Requires a High school diploma or equivalent.
Requires at least 2 years of directly related work experience.
Must be familiar with staging and palletizing material for loading into containers.
Must possess a valid State Driver's License.
Must comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand - between 2 to 3 hours per day.
Must be able to walk - between 4 to 5 hours per day.
Must be able to Lift - up to 35 lbs. - 50 lbs. periodically.
Must be able to squat, knell, bend, reach and climb periodically.
Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments.
