A Day in the Life of an Employee Benefits Clerk:
The bulk of your day will be spent handling emails and phone calls assisting employees with medical, dental, vision, FSA, 401(k) and other benefits questions
Assisting the Benefit teams with Leave of absence payment calculations for both US and Canada, weekly vendor reports, funding FSA/401(k) contributions
Working with several different vendors as needed
Clerical duties including data entry, filing and mailings
What You Have to Have:
1 - 2 years of customer contact experience demonstrating strong customer service skills and excellent verbal communications skills over the phone
Proven ability to handle a high volume of calls
Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and contact with employees in a calm and professional manner
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
What Would be Great to Have:
Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field preferred but not required or equivalent work experience
Experience in HR, US and/or Canadian benefits experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English or French and English is a plus
Experience working with payroll systems, specifically Workday
