Mechanical Test Logistician

This role is with KBR's GAM, Global Asset Management group. At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management.
The Mechanical Test Logistician will:
Provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers.
Interface with engineers and technicians in an aerospace laboratory environment to determine test equipment needs and provide solutions from available customer owned equipment.
Plan, calibration recall, report operational metrics, mentor logistics technicians, and act as the primary contact for our customers onsite.
Use Microsoft Office applications, chat applications and attend in person meetings to receive and convey information for request identification and issue.
Have the ability to recognize and comply with warnings, signs and alerts in laboratory and engineering test environments. *
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be United States citizen, local to the job area or willing to relocate without assistance to the local area.
HS Diploma or equivalent and six years of directly related work experience.
Experience with the Scireo software and systems.
You must be familiar with mechanical test lab environments, signage, safety precautions and use of PPE.
Understand basic functionality and parameters of mechanical test equipment.
Familiarity with mechanical testing processes, procedures and standard test equipment.
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Power Point, Outlook, Word and Excel.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs, walk at a measured pace for sustained periods, stand, sit and kneel repetitively.
Ability to work independently, implement basic to semi-complex verbal instructions, and follow approved workflow processes. *
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, respond to ad hoc requests, and support cross-site KBR E-Team staff and customers. *
