Title:
Construction System Owner
The Construction System Owner for our Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project will be responsible for overseeing the construction, integration, and commissioning of designated systems within the LNG facility. This role ensures that the construction activities are carried out safely, on schedule, and within budget while adhering to all quality and regulatory standards. The Construction System Owner will collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless system delivery and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the construction and commissioning of specific systems within the LNG project.
Develop and maintain construction plans, schedules, and progress reports.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment and integration.
Ensure all construction activities meet the project's quality standards and specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities.
Oversee the implementation of quality control processes and resolve any non-conformances.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on-site.
Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Participate in safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations.
Track progress against the project schedule and implement corrective actions as needed.
Report on system construction status, including risks and mitigation plans.
Act as the primary point of contact for system-related activities.
Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth progress.
Facilitate communication and coordination between all parties involved in system construction.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams.
Review and approve construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure systems are constructed and commissioned according to design and operational requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction management within the oil and gas or LNG industry.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of LNG plant construction and commissioning processes.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
