We are currently seeking a Shelf-Life Manager to work with an experienced multi-functional logistics team supporting mission critical operations. Bring your expertise to this great opportunity in Williamsburg, VA.
This Serco opportunity supports the US Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command contract that enhances product work-flow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Performs a variety of tasks.
In this role, you will:
Manage all shelf-life material and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for inventory control and shelf-life management.
Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A high school diploma/GED.
8+ years' experience in any combination of inventory or shelf-life planning or control, which must demonstrate experience and ability in inventory and shelf-life management, Quality Control, and Automated Data Processing (ADP).
3+ years' experience supervising at least 10 people doing similar or related type work on similar contracts, or on a project of comparable scope and magnitude.
Ability to complete a government approved shelf-life management training course.
Experience with database management systems, such as DMLSS.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Additional desired experience & skills:
A bachelor's degree.
10+ years' of experience in logistics planning.
Preferred:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card for the Military Installation at theCheatham Annex Naval Base where this positionresides on a military installation or within a government facility which requires US Citzenship.
