We are looking for a talented contract staff member to support the Surface Warfare School's Command (SWSC) in Norfolk, Virginia. This individual will provide government contract expertise and financial analysis support to SWSC program managers.
Responsibilities
- Must properly format and prepare formal documentation to include Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Government Cost Estimates, and Funding Document Requests - Must develop and manage annual contract funding requirements in coordination with N8 Comptroller Directorate - Interface with Contracting Office Project Managers, Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives - Monitor overall contract performance and contract funding
Education/Qualifications
- Must have an active SECRET clearance
- A minimum of 2 years of DoD Contract Analysis/Specialist experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel and Access
- Expert knowledge in quality control, error detection, reviewing, reconciliation of data - Expert knowledge in qualitative and quantitative analytical and evaluation methods to identify problems and recommend solutions - Knowledge of Navy Surface Warfare training requirements - Articulate, diplomatic, and team oriented - Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) - Knowledge of DOD Financial Management Regulation (DOD FMR) - Knowledge of market research, cost and price analysis, acquisition planning, source selection procedures, business clearances, pre-award surveys, financial audits, technical reports, award fee plans, responsibility determinations.
