Summary You will serve as a Property Systems Manager in the General Equipment (GE) Property Policy and Reporting Branch (SUP 113) of the Financial Operations Division of the Financial Management and Comptroller (SUP 01), NAVSUP HQ, Department of CNSSC OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FIELD. Responsibilities You will arrange for Navy representation during Systems Acceptance Testing for newly designed programs prior to release DOD wide. You will serve as the Navy's subject matter expert and key employee for the Navy's and NAVSUP?s PPE Program. You will evaluate and report on the results of new release updates. You will engage in frequent discussion with Navy's Major Claimant and unit level personnel regarding the status of assigned programs/projects and any need for procedural changes. You will routinely prepare and provide authoritative reports, make presentations, and engage in formal discussions regarding program status with senior Navy and DoD officials. You will monitor status of the cyclic inventory processes for all UICs within the NAVSUP Enterprise. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluate PPE program operations and develop recommendations on the need for procedural changes and/or additional controls to assure quality, security and timeliness of products and services; 2) Monitor cyclic inventory processes to ensure all property is inventoried in accordance with current directives; 3) Process the monthly Financial management property reports/queries to collect necessary financial data to populate the FMO data collection instrument (DCI); 4) Research the scope and impact of proposed PPE System changes in order to provide input for potential discussion; 5) Prepare monthly PPE Management Reports using management statistics and summary metric data.
