Selected candidate will be responsible for the readiness, installation, operations, maintenance, employment, and leadership/management of personnel in support of multiple sites. What you will do
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and site lead management.
Responsible to government leaders for coordination and logistics support for the installation of equipment and engineering requirements.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Customer, Contractors and Sub-Contractors.
Regularly brief GS-15 level personnel on all assigned Department requirements, products, concerns, readiness, construction projects, future operations, planning, policies, and procedures in support of the government customer
What you must have
Must have experience in electronic maintenance and running a computerized maintenance management system.
Must have experience with Navy's Maintenance & Material Management (3M) program.
Must have experience with developing Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC), maintenance schedule, and periodicity assignment.
Must have a current or active DoD top secret clearance
Must be able to obtain/maintain base access credentials
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred: Bonus points for...
Experience managing disparate locations preferred..
Professional Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile software, Scrum, etc preferred.
Experience in writing/directing policies, procedures, and documents a plus, this experience related to Navy policies, procedures and documents preferred.
Physical Requirements
May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
