The Corporate Marketing Manager oversees marketing function and activity at the enterprise level for Mythics Emergent Group. This role is responsible for content creation, development and management, website maintenance, corporate communication, vendor relations and supporting and developing our relationships with internal customers, such as Human Resources, Sales leadership, and Consulting. This role also guides content marketing strategy, facilitates ongoing content planning, manages day-to-day content creation, editing and promotion, and reports on the results of each content marketing initiative. The Corporate Marketing Manager works closely with the Director, Marketing to understand corporate priorities, goals, and initiatives as they relate to each business area. Mythics Emergent Group is a holding company for Mythics and Emergent. Mythics is a value-added reseller and solutions provider for Oracle, and Emergent is a value-added reseller and solutions provider for other large software manufacturers, such as Adobe and Red Hat.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Proactively lead cross-functional collaboration to drive strategic partner marketing priorities and collaborate with various internal teams and departments to achieve success
Translate marketing, creative, and strategic objectives into content assets that attract, engage and delight target audiences across different marketing channels
Oversee content strategy, content marketing planning via an organized editorial calendar, content execution, distribution, publishing, results tracking and analytics reporting
Work collaboratively with the Marketing Department team members to execute on agreed upon goals
Evaluate the impact and success of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on relevant KPS, such as lead flow, cost metrics and retention
Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications
Maintain an organized content asset library and maintain a consistent and appropriate brand voice
Be proactive in maintaining and exploring content syndication opportunities and external content resources
Professionally and clearly articulate concepts and solutions to the executive team and peers
Build/maintain relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with peers and leadership
Ensure compliance with laws (e.g., copyright and data protection)
Stay current with market and technology developments and generate new ideas to draw audience's attention
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications, Master's degree a plus.
7 - 10 years' professional work experience with at least 5 years in a marketing role
5+ years' experience in marketing content management, technology industry experience a plus
Experience creating marketing campaigns and reporting on results
Experience working in digital and direct response marketing
Experience working in B2B Marketing role
Government-related work experience a plus
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proven ability to write effectively for both humans and search engines, proofread and edit
Conceptual thinker with creative energy, confidence and self-motivation
Superior understanding of written storytelling / communication and marketing principles
Proven proficiency of SEO (search engine optimization) and how to incorporate this into the content marketing strategy and execution
Understanding of content marketing strategy, vernacular and creating content for specific personas and proof of attracting audiences through engaging content
Understanding of content services budgeting
Excellent writing skills in English
Attention to detail
Proven leadership and influencing skills
Excellent organizational, time and project management, reporting and communication skills
Proficiency with job-related software applications including: Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot (or similar), Canva, MailChimp (or similar), WordPress CMS, Social Media Platforms, Grammarly, BuzzSumo, SEM Rush (or similar), Google Drive, MS Office, and other applicable content tools
