Job Description:
The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Program Manager to work out of the Camden, AR or Huntsville, AL location. This is an opportunity to support the Tactical Tomahawk Program. The selected individual will manage various elements of the program, which include defining and controlling program scope, developing and supporting updates of schedules and budgets, and act as primary contact for assigned elements. The Program Manager will ensure, through the assigned program team, that contract performance responsibility is properly delegated to performing organizations and outside suppliers. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team on a high profile program critical to the defense of our nation and our allies.
Essential Functions:
Provide management and leadership of assigned program teams in execution of the program plan for assigned program elements
Interface with support organizations to ensure program tasks are scheduled, on-track and properly staffed
Establish detailed program plans including schedules and budgets and support updates to them throughout the duration of the program
Build team(s) that are goal-oriented and focused on success
Prepare proposals
Support BOE development, fact finding and DCMA/DCAA audits
Prepare reports/briefings to segment management and the customer on program schedule and financial performance
Support the overall business/technical relationship with customers and prepare contract change proposals when appropriate
Support department and company improvement initiatives
Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
Hybrid Work Location: You will need to live within commuting distance to our Huntsville, AL or Camden, AR location, work from home schedule will be dictated by the manager and business needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior program management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior program management experience, In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior program management experience
2+ years project management experience within the framework of Program Planning, Program Control (Earned Value), and Program Execution
2+ years aerospace manufacturing experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Provide technical and administrative guidance for activities in defined scope of responsibilities
Knowledge of product development and manufacturability of affordable products
Prepare and deliver technical and non technical powerpoint presentations
Knowledge of solid rocket propulsion
PMP certification
