As a key member of the service team, the Service Coordinator reports to the Technical Service Supervisor and is responsible for interacting with customers and various internal teams in order to provide timely and accurate service. The Service Coordinator will plan, quote, coordinate and schedule service trips. This may include initiating proposals for customers and coordinating the service schedule, reaching out to customers for follow-up visits and generating other revenue possibilities.
The position will be based at our headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain the department planning, scheduling, and service activities to maximize chargeable labor
Quote, schedule, and provide timely and accurate service for the clients, ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Initiate and provide REQ's for resource/technician assignments
Work cross-functionally with PMs, Quality, and Engineering team
Participate in after-hour customer support
Work closely with billing analyst to approve final billing of REQ's and other administrative financial duties as required
Compile and extract data for service metrics
Assist in promotion of service offerings
Assist in development plan for cross-training technicians
Utilize Technical & Quote Call Log(s) to follow-up with customer calls to generate service trips/revenue
Improve operational processes, within the field service organization that exceed customer expectations.
Participate in and promote the 80/20 Toolbox projects in-line with ITW enterprise initiatives.
Other duties as assigned
Associates degree (A.S.) from two-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision.
Excellent time management, prioritization abilities, and project management.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP, and SmartSheet) to analyze data and trends
Willing to travel when necessary (up to 10%)
