LRI, a Waste Connections company is looking for a safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Washer to join the team in LRI. This position will perform a variety of duties including the washing and cleaning of Heavy Equipment in support of maintenance operations. This is a Sunday through Thursday position starting at 8:00 am through 4:30 pm. Wage is $21.00/HR
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and implement a machine cleanliness program and see that machines stick to an organized wash schedule.
Help during Lunchtime services which include cleaning tracks, checking fluids, and washing machines.
Sundays, in charge of lubing and fueling machines
Sweep floor, put parts away, and perform other custodial functions to maintain order and cleanliness in the work area.
Perform minor repairs to the equipment and facility.
Perform other related work as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma and/or GED.
Valid driver's license
Proven ability to be a self-starter with work with little supervision required.
Experience in a maintenance shop or industrial environment preferred, but not required.
Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
