Caterpillar's Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) is hiring a Sr. Corporate Trainer for digital channels/applications.
Role Summary: As a Trainer, the majority of your time will be conducting in-person and virtual training sessions on digital applications, software, and tools for Caterpillar employees and dealers around the globe.
What You'll Do:
Develop and deliver training programs for internal audience, dealers, and customers to maintain and improve their job skills.
Work closely with Product Managers and go to market professionals to stay up-to-date with software changes and enhancements on applications that affect trainings
Deliver clear and comprehensive instructions on how to use digital tools effectively to enhance productivity and efficiency
Customize training sessions to meet the specific needs and skill levels of different user groups within the organization
Assist in developing training materials and resources, such as user guides and job aids, to support training objectives
Provide one-on-one or small group training sessions for employees who require additional support or guidance
Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to stay informed about updates and changes to digital applications
Evaluate global training effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms, making adjustments as needed to improve learning outcomes
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital tools and applications to ensure training content remains relevant and informative
Dotted line reporting to Events Consultant on delivery and execution of training
What You Have (Skills & Experience):
Experience as a corporate trainer or instructor with a focus on delivering training on digital applications
Excellent communication and presentation skills , with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner
Training operations: experience conducting training sessions both in-person and through virtual settings
Customer focus : Ability to adapt training approaches to different learning styles and audience needs
Relationship management skills: strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with trainees to create a positive learning environment
Ability to travel 50% is required for this role (domestic and international)
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Strong knowledge of a variety of digital tools and applications commonly used in business environments
Passion for helping others learn and develop their skills using digital tools
Additional Details:
Work locations: Peoria, IL; Dallas, TX; Cary, NC
Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring 3 days per week of onsite work in one of the offices listed in the work locations details
