L3Harris Modernization and Modifications Group (MMG) within the Intelligence Surveillance Recognizance (ISR) sector is looking for a Senior Manager, Program Management for the P-8A Poseidon Depot Level Maintenance Program The Senior Manager is responsible for overall program management and is accountable for program execution, customer satisfaction, and financial performance for a fleet USN P-8A Aircraft. This position will have a direct interface with customers, suppliers, leads the level 1 Program Integrated Product Team (IPT), and provides direct leadership to Program Managers and Administrative personnel. Communicates cross-functionally and with the customer on matters of program execution. The role includes responsibility for guiding L3Harris' employees in their work and influencing them to deliver their best and to act within the L3Harris corporate values.
The Senior Manager is responsible for establishing program milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules; identifies program problems and obtains solutions. The Senior Manager is responsible for maintaining the Integrated Program Plan, Performance Measurement Baseline, Risk and Opportunity management and Change Control processes. The Senior Manager assists with growth of the portfolio, including business development of the portfolio helping with preparation of proposals; business plans; and understanding customer requirements.
Essential Functions:
Drive program execution with responsibility for managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements utilizing Earned Value Management.
Achieve key program and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow
Develop and manage financial forecasts
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules as well as identifies program problems and obtains solutions
Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions internally and with the customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
Responsible for creation of and adherence to Integrated Program Plans, Performance Measurement Baselines, Change Management rigor and Risk and Opportunity management
Effective communicator within the program team, internal executive leadership, and externally with the customer
Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
Requires cross functional leadership to meet program goals
Responsible for customer relationship management to determine needs, requirements, and new business opportunities
Direct the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budget, and financial terms/conditions of contracts
Responsible for career development, succession planning, performance management, coaching and mentoring for program managers
Ensure all resources including engineering and operations are available to support the program
Partner with engineering on design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test
Coordinate, support, and drive strategic growth planning for the enterprise and business area
Will have the flexibility to work on short notice, overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed and can travel up to 20%.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
6+ years program / operations management in the Commercial Aerospace industry, with experience in Heavy Maintenance Inspection processes with experience in technical program planning, and cost and schedule development.
6+ years' experience in program management methodology and techniques, earned value, performance evaluation and change management principles.
5+ years' experience in the areas of financial control, manpower planning, project reviews, scheduling, and budget control.
3+ years' experience with DOD Depot Level maintenance programs.
Must have a current DOD SECRET Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
10+ years knowledge of aircraft modifications, program structure, planning, flight test, and execution.
Knowledge of coordinating cross-functional Agency customers and international partners.
Established working relationship with government customers and end user.
Experience with integrated program scheduling, risk management, change control, and subcontracts.
Working knowledge of Firm Fixed Priced (FFP), Cost Reimbursable (CR) and Time and Material (T&M) contracting structures.
Working knowledge of Commercial Depot Maintenance best practices on large commercial aircraft. or transport aircraft and Modification, Installation, Test, planning and execution.
Demonstrated ability to work across internal functions and with outside suppliers to facilitate successful product completion/delivery.
Working knowledge of business development, capture, proposal development and marketing, and sales in the government and commercial market.
