Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design and produce mechanical designs for federal government products and capabilities .
What You'll Be Doing:
Performs various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a Bachelors in engineering program, and available data in the engineering field.
Prepares or assists in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
Support designing of new or upgrading existing hardware systems
Support with manufacturing, assembly, and testing of RF products
Assists in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts.
Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assists in reviewing supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses.
Assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Provides input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
3+ years of related work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) required
Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals
Good written and verbal communication skills
US Citizenship is required
Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. U.S. Citizenship is required

Salary Range:
$70,500.00 - $123,400.00
