Responsibilities You will You will apply fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles, standards, and procedures to financial management activities. You will analyze, evaluate and review budget and program issues and financial data and report using business tools and applications, cost and economic analysis, and performance metrics. You will execute modifications to systems, programs, and/or operations and establish criteria and other means to asses, investigate, or analyze a variety of unusual problems and conditions. You will identify and analyze problems, while weighing relevance and accuracy of information. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating and applying financial management laws, regulations, principles, concepts and practices. Examples of Qualifying Specialized Experience: 1) Assisting with the design, implementation and/or assessment of internal control processes and procedures to solve a variety of accounting and/or auditing problems; 2) Analyzing audit findings and assisting in generating/coordinating corrective action plans to document necessary process changes; and 3) Reviewing existing business process documentation to assist in researching and investigating new or improved business and financial management practices.
