Job Summary
Are you passionate about producing high quality work with integrity? Join our team as a Warehouse Specialist and deliver results to APS-3 Logistics Team in the Packing and Preservation department! As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or placing materials on pallets, in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and organize the warehouse, including inventory, products, and packing materials
Receive and inspect incoming products, ensuring that they meet quality standards
Ensure accurate inventory counts and document all movement of products in and out of the warehouse
Pack and unpack products for shipping and/or storage
Keep the warehouse clean and orderly
Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a warehouse or related field
Knowledge of inventory management and shipping and receiving processes
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Ability to lift heavy objects(35lbs)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
These are nice to have skills, qualifications, and experience that would make a candidate stand out from others
Forklift Operator
Basic Computer Skills
Two years of Warehouse experience
Able to drive heavy equipment
