Summary You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator in the Logistics Readiness Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PEARL HARBOR. Responsibilities You will be responsible for operating one or more types of passenger vehicles/buses capable of carrying 16 or more passengers. You will operate one or more electric, LPG, or diesel powered forklift trucks up to 10K capacity to facilitate loading and unloading duties onto trucks, trailers or within warehouses or other confined spaces. You will maneuver the buses in difficult traffic and in a variety of constricted locations while maintaining time schedules You will read maps and judge road/traffic conditions to determine the shortest and fastest route. You will promptly inform supervisor of accidents and/or damages to supplies, equipment, or vehicles and of any observed unsafe practices and/or procedures in a timely manner in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will maintain strict radio discipline; utilizing established codes and proper identification when broadcasting, communicating clearly and orally. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
