We are a company on the move, growing in advanced technology areas while continuing the long history of exceptional performance that has earned our place as a trusted provider to our customers!L3Harris is seeking to hire a Sr DevSecOps Software Engineer to join the IEI (Intelliearth Integrator) The DevSecOps team works to maintain and extend all functions that support the development by the IEI team. This will include system administration of the devops machines (CI, Master, Dev loops) in addition to tools servers (Atlassian, Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Nexus, Repositories). This team will be responsible for keeping 3rd party software up to date for security compliance. It will also be responsible for the packaging and installation scripts.
Essential Functions:
Maintain system health of IEI DevOps environment (Continuous Integration (CI), Master, Atlassian).
Maintain scanning tools (Fortify, Sonar).
Maintain/extend instllation process.
Create/maintain DevOps tools (Testrunner, Jenkins, Atlassian, package-delivery).
Updating 3rd party software to maintain security compliance.
Create/extend Chef recipes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technologies, or related discipline with 6 years of software experience; or 4 years relevant software experience with a Graduate Degree.
Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Groovy, Perl, and/or Python.
Experience in Linux OS administration.
Experience with Software Configuration & Management tools, such as Chef.
Experience with Docker.
Experience with continuous integration (CI) software such as Jenkins.
Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite(Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket).
Experience with collaboration software like Bitbucket or Gitlab.
Experience with Software build tools.
Experience with Gradle and Maven.
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification (Security+) a plus.
Experience with implementing and maintaining security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes.
Experience in Programming Languages: C/C++, Java, Javascript, RUBY, SQL.
Experience with Git or similar Software Configuration Management tools.
Experience in Agile software development lifecycle.
Experience with AWS cloud services and AWS CLI.
Experience with container orchestration software.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Experience with Redhat OpenShift.
Experience with Code Quality & Security tools.
Experience with Fortify.
Experience with SonarQube.
Experience with JaCoCo and Gcov
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $110,000 - $157,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
