The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Technical Customer Service Representative to work at our Pewaukee, WI location . This person will support provide order handling, pricing, and customer support to domestic and international customers. Qualified candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, customer focused, agile and collaborative.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Receives and reviews customers' requests for quotes for both domestic and international sources
Responsible for establishing current sell price
Receives and reviews customers' orders for accuracy (domestic and international)
Enters customers' orders, creates and maintains customer files
Reviews existing costs and obtains current costing
Verifies/identifies parts against original pump specifications
Maintains accurate records of all costs and sell prices
Prepares shipping documentation for both domestic and international orders
Prepares and distributes customer invoicing
Plans and coordinates with manufacturing and purchasing departments to ensure best delivery to meet customer requirements
Keeps customers updated with shipping status of orders
Collaborates with engineering and purchasing
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Candidates will have at least two years of customer service, parts/inventory, inside sales or pricing in the manufacturing industry
Working knowledge of order processing, basic knowledge of products, customers, pricing and logistics. Export experience is desirable.
Demonstrated customer advocacy skills
Ability to self-motivate and work independently
Comfortable in a fast paced environment welcoming change and growth
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience working with ERP systems.
A strong commitment to working with a team, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining professionalism is required
Ability to process transactions (orders, invoicing, shipping, etc.) with proficiency, accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
