Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations of changes in policy and procedures in various products and services. You will prepare and enter all requisitions for supplies, materials, and services for all products and service lines. You will provide guidance on budget forms, procedures, and documentation to support estimates and requests. You will post transactions to computer based spread sheets and database programs. You will serve as an alternate purchase card holder/buyer for hazardous materials (HAZMAT). You will maintain files, records, receipts, and expenditure of funds reviewing documents to ensure proper execution and charges to the appropriate funding categories. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Management Assistant experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a knowledge of an organizations functions, procedures, operations or business practices to perform clerical assignments and perform analytical work in support of a variety of administrative functions, programs, and operations. I have experience utilizing automated databases to maintain/monitor records, related to personnel, financial, and pertinent general information. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Preparing and entering all requisitions for supplies, materials and services for all product and service lines; 2) Analyzing/evaluating administrative operations and bringing potential problem areas to the attention of the supervisor; 3) Utilizing methods for automating administrative and financial reports considering the inter-relationship of the reports and multiple uses of the data; and 4) Maintaining a variety of files, notebooks, and automated records.
