Ferguson is actively hiring a Business Development Manager!

In this role, you will lead business development across categories, however, will primarily support the Industrial Customer Group and will focus on large EPC Contractors in the Houston, Carolinas or Kansas City markets.

You can work out of one of our locations in those markets or you can work from home or a combination.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Identifies new business and growth opportunities, manages business planning and proposal drafting, including budget, sales and expenses planning, prospecting and expansion.

  • Analyzes and interprets the performance of new business initiatives, and prepares statistics, reports and presentations for senior management.

  • Develops and maintains partnerships with leadership teams to develop and deliver new business through trust and value-led relationships with the key client partners responsible, owing the day-to-day contact with clients.

  • Crafts the development and implementation of departmental plans through landmarks and targets for the sales teams or branches within an assigned geographical area or market.

  • Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirement.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPCs) or capital construction projects preferred.

  • 4+ years' experience working with EPCs, including an in-depth understanding of their sales cycle.

  • 4+ years of significant, proven experience identifying, developing and closing new client opportunities.

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent relevant experience.

Pay Range:

$6,374.70 - $13,933.70

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
