Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Service-wide Transportation Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will be responsible for performing staff senior analyst with staff analytical work associated with developing annual SWT requirements and financial plans; formulating SWT financial budgets; conducting special studies. You will perform and advise on SWT program issues, which includes all of the phases of program management and budget administration. You will serve as the Command subject matter expert of all matters relating to the SWT procedures and issues. You will maintain liaison with the Budget Submitting Offices, transportation commands, and other agencies within the DOD and the DON. You will perform program evaluations that include management control reviews and vulnerability assessment. You will develop and maintain an up to date awareness and understanding of the transportation policies, procedures, issues, and future directions as they pertain to DOD. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following; 1.) Planning, analyzing, and developing transportation policies; 2.) Defining and developing a customer's mode of transportation requirements while participating in the Program, Planning, Budget and Executive System for an organization; 3.) Making recommendations regarding the implementation of requirements within existing transportation systems; 4.) Conducting cost efficiency analysis, and studies.
