JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the support and development of the DevOps footprint within the Enabling Technology COE. Responsibilities of the position include all aspects of application development relative to DevOps functions, production support for standard and custom components, solution delivery of new enhancements and bug fixes, and configuration responsibilities. It also includes developing and maintaining standards that ensure the team can build and support high quality and robust solutions in the space. This position must also build and maintain strong relationships with other IT departments as well as with portfolio and business partners, peers, staff, and vendors.
The successful candidate will focus on support and development of DevOps components for various systems within our footprint. This will include designing and implementing Build and Release pipelines to package and deploy solutions quickly and securely. The candidate will need to deal with topics like CI/CD, GIT, scripting, API interactions, code quality, advanced version control topics, and more.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills but also be able to successfully work within a high-paced diverse team that serves a variety of business value streams across Accounting, Finance and HR.
This position will be based in Atlanta, GA / Birmingham, AL
Job Experience & Education :
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/MIS/Engineering or related degree preferred
3 to 10 years of experience building and delivering software solutions
Experience working with API based interactions between complex systems
Experience with security topics relevant to the DevOps space (such as pipeline, code and project security, establishing secure handshakes with targets, etc.)
Strong experience with scripting, preferably PowerShell but not necessarily
Strong experience with source control management of complex projects with different branching strategies
Knowledge of RPA technologies and its usage is a plus
Very strong understanding of DevOps methodologies utilized by modern Dev Teams (CI/CD, GIT, branching, code quality scans, etc.) required.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Oracle Developer Cloud (Visual Builder Studio), SonarQube, Jenkins, preferred but not required if similar experience is relevant.
Experience working in a fast-paced, competitive information technology organization, spanning various disciplines including applications, infrastructure, and business support roles (Agile methodology experience preferred).
