GENERAL SUMMARY
The Office Nurse Practitioner works under continuous supervision and clinical guidance of the practice physician(s). Engages in the practices constituting the practice of medicine in collaboration with and under the medical direction and supervision of a licensed physician. Reports to supervising physician(s) and designated manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support the medical practice with effective utilization of healthcare resources.
Demonstrates excellence in practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient and staff education.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Current State license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) / Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or PNP/FNP Applicant.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Advanced professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
3 - 5 years of pediatric experience preferred.
Meets and maintains state licensure, certification and/or educational requirements as a Nurse Practitioner.
Current CPR certification required.
Execution of Non-Competition, Confidentiality, and Non-Solicitation Agreement for CMG (Children's Medical Group, Inc.) required.
Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing.
