Purpose of Job

We are seeking a talented Compliance Analyst - Bank Compliance to work a hybrid schedule from one of our regional offices in San Antonio TX, Charlotte NC, Tampa FL, Plano TX or Phoenix AZ.

The primary responsibility for this job is compliance monitoring and testing of first line call center processes. This position provides second-line independent oversight and guidance regarding business products, services, and processes through a compliance framework to ensure they are executed in accordance with regulatory requirements. In partnership with the business and key stakeholders, continuously drives a strong culture of compliance and demonstrates integrity and professional judgment in protecting the interests of USAA and its members.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducts reviews of laws and regulations for business impact.

  • Maintains and applies maturing knowledge of the business, its products and processes to identify and escalate compliance issues.

  • Offers recommendations and makes project related decisions within scope of work assignment.

  • May review business documents and forms to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and enterprise policy.

  • Provides compliance input on business action plans, projects or operational requests.

  • Gathers information, analyzes data trends, and provides relevant information to the business.

  • Participates in compliance risk management activities in accordance with enterprise compliance standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required in lieu of degree (6 years in lieu of degree)

  • 2 or more years relevant work experience in financial services or insurance industry.

  • Working knowledge of compliance laws, regulations and regulatory expectations.

  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques with demonstrated ability to evaluate risk and make recommendations.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with second line testing or monitoring for regulatory compliance.

  • History of QC or QA work related to call center activities.

  • CRCM certification.

  • Working knowledge of Tableau, and other reporting systems and ability to apply search criteria to locate potential opportunities for call testing.

  • Solid oral and written communication skills to present complex issues on test results with senior management.

Compensation:

USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $54,800 - $98,700*

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.

*Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.

Shift premium: will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
