GAME ON

Our Sports Bar Management Team - General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, Service Manager - works together in operating our sports bars on a day to day basis ensuring that we're ready to win the game. Bay Disposal is looking for a Scale Attendant to join the team at our landfill in Virginia Beach, VA . In this position you will work in a fast paced high energy environment and run our scale checking our customers in and out of our facility. This position involves face to face customer service, cash handling, and computer work. You will also be responsible for keeping your area clean and organized and assist the manager with administrative duties.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, hour between 7am-4:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the landfill.

• Track weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures.

• Calculate payments for customers.

• Ensure incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material (this involves working outside and climbing on ladders).

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.

• Strong typing and 10 key skills.

• Microsoft Office experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

Supervises and directs the activities of our (2) shift machine shop operation, comprised of (3) machining teams using approximately 20 machine tools and ancillary equipment. Oversees the job performance of all team members and ensures that the department operates in an efficient manner while producing the desired quality and quantity of work. In addition to managing the day-to-day tactical operations, the Machine Shop Manager is a key driver of continuous improvement initiatives to meet annual plan targets in safety, quality, delivery, costs and morale. A Day in the Life of a Service Technician I (Maintenance Technician I):

As a Liberty Military Housing Service Technician I, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs in a multifamily residential community. You will operate building systems and related equipment and tools to complete tasks to Liberty Military Housing's quality standards and resident's satisfaction.
