  • Responsible for serving as the customer's primary point of contact providing operational and reimbursement support to complex programs

  • Self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative, identifying barriers, and working with the appropriate parties to eliminate these obstructions for the customer

  • Proficient and knowledgeable about all the services provided on an assigned program and may support multiple client products or programs

  • Quickly and efficiently respond to incoming calls and faxes, identify how best to assist.

  • Document calls in appropriate tracking systems, and handle/escalate calls per established procedures.

  • Conduct insurance verifications to understand if patient's prescribed therapy is eligible for coverage.

  • Possibly coordinate prior authorizations, investigate alternative insurance coverage, or other funding sources on behalf of the patients per the program specifications.

  • Process patient applications of various complexities and follow the programs specifications to determine their eligibility.

  • Will place follow up calls and respond to enquiries from patients and/or healthcare providers as necessary.

  • Liaise with partner distributors and pharmaceutical manufacturers to request products per the program's guidelines and track shipments.

  • Coordinate the order and transfer of prescriptions based on their degrees of urgency to specialty pharmacies as appropriate.

  • Be familiar with the market place and the insurance options available for patients.

  • Educate patients on the available options as appropriate.

  • Assist with training new team members by shadowing/reverse shadowing them and serving as a data checker by reviewing data entered in the program's tracking system.

This project provides customer service to MassHealth (MA Medicaid Program) members and providers, processes prescriptions for transportation PT-1) benefits, manages premium billing functions, handles provider enrollment and credentialing, and provider outreach and training. We are excited to bring on a Money Out Processor to support the Retirement Plan operations business. This will be a remote, work from home opportunity.

Background Details

As a Money Out Processor, you will be responsible for underwriting and processing financial distributions from retirement plans in a high-volume, production style environment. Your role is to accurately underwrite outbound distribution forms, guiding participants and plan professionals through the distribution process using excellent communication and problem-solving skills to obtain the necessary information and/or documentation to finalize the outbound payment.   • You will act as the point of contact communicating through email/phone with internal and external stakeholders including plan sponsors, third party administrators (TPAs) and participants to obtain necessary information and documentation related to the distribution process.

  • You will process distributions, across multiple product suites, in accordance with established procedures, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of submitted information, and meeting deadlines appropriately.

  • This is in a multi-screen and multi-system environment where attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work is required

  • You will identify, recommend and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a high level strategic contributor and leader that will oversee business planning, tactical execution, and business integration of all digital initiatives; inclusive of, but not limited to, web site development, mobile platform and presence, internal application development, content management, self-service adoption, and ongoing maintenance of electronic channels.   1. Translate emerging customer needs and technologies into actionable business terms and associated plans. Assure that the proper business case has been provided and the solution fits with overall strategic direction.

  2. Develop solutions by applying accepted processes or is able to create new approaches to leverage technology from abstract information. Review and consult on design and content of all digital projects to ensure consistency across electronic platforms, efficiency and lack of redundancy, appropriateness of statistical analysis, and relevance to business and strategic objectives.

  3. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members in the areas of strategy, external research and benchmarking, best-practice analysis, business analysis, and ultimately implementation of electronic solutions to our customers. Leads a team of information technology professionals, end user customers and vendors to assemble request for information/proposal (RFI/RFP), return on investment (ROI) calculations, capital or operating budgets data or other high level strategic specifications and documents.

  4. Establish and manage an effective dashboard of metrics that communicates objectives of initiatives and the progress towards specific goals. Oversee the effective, correct, and consistent application of data analysis and decision making based on fact for all information feeds into the innovation process for the Digital Business Technology team. Promote the use of data analysis and fact based decision-making. Educates and influences business leaders on the most effective use of electronic channel options from both a short-term and long-term perspective. Maintains a significant role in the creation of strategic technology plans.

  5. Provides leadership for company staff, information technology staff and various committees guiding the design, implementation and maintenance of complex application and system specifications and processes. Participates and may lead taskforces to plan, implement, and coordinate facility activities to maximize information technology service quality, effectiveness and efficiency.

  6. Designs and administers complex standards and policies regarding application and end user customer documentation. Ensures that department and company standards are implemented and consistently adhered to.

  7. Provides high level expertise to the development of fully integrated testing scenarios. Ensures that the information systems across multiple levels and states and their relationships are considered and are part of the comprehensive testing plans.

  8. Maintains current professional and technical knowledge relating to the healthcare industry by attending educational workshops/conferences, establishing personal networks, and/or maintaining relevant certification or licensure as business needs require.

  9. Incumbents are to lead a team of IT Professionals as well as providing team members with technical guidance as needed. Incumbents are to foresee and resolve customer issues and provide solutions that meet the needs of the organization. You will serve as a subject matter expert and educate them about the retirement plan using excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to create a positive experience. What you'll be doing

  • You will act as the main point of contact for the retirement plan, answering 60-80 inbound calls from internal and external stakeholders such as plan participants, beneficiaries, financial professional and plan sponsors, addressing customer service inquiries and concerns.

  • You will work in a fast-paced, highly structured, team-oriented environment with a diverse group of employees focused on meeting the needs of the company and our customers through problem resolution.

  • You will build rapport with and educate our customers about their retirement plan while researching multiple systems, databases, platforms and software.

  • You will provide accurate, detailed information about the retirement plan, recognizing what needs to be done to meet the customer's needs and demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness through problem resolution.

The Role At a Glance

We are excited to bring on an Internal Audit-Compliance Intern to join our 2022 Summer cohort.

As the Audit Intern, you will work in conjunction with the audit team to perform reviews and analysis of information to assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls and governance processes. This role will afford you with an outstanding opportunity to gain valuable experience and insights around the fundamentals of internal auditing, risk analysis, and regulations impacting the organization. Further, this experience will enable interaction and collaboration with various audit functions and company business units.

What you'll be doing

- Support the audit team in identifying, documenting, and testing key controls and understanding business processes through participation in audit assignments (e.g., internal control walkthroughs, audit testing, audit close meetings, etc.)

- Under the direction of a lead auditor, execute audit work (e.g., examine and review evidence to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, prepare audit workpapers to submit for management review, etc.)

Summary

The Leave of Absence (LOA) Case Manager is responsible for administration of the Company's LOA Management Process for assigned regions and/or business units.

Essential Functions

The HR Service Operator provides superior call center customer service and processing to promote and enhance the effectiveness of the Human Resources Department at Advance Auto Parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answer Team Members basic questions in a friendly, responsive manner, regarding payroll, benefits, HR, Applicant Tracking, and Performance Management questions. This includes referring Team Members to Starting Line, PeopleCenter and other systems as needed.

  • Educate Team Members on payroll policies, HR guidelines, general Benefit information, and SOPs to ensure consistency for both quality and compliance purposes.

  • Transfer more complex or escalated issues to the HR Service Specialist or Supervisors as appropriate.

  • Meet required service metrics for telephone accessibility, processing volume/turnaround time, and quality.

  • Correspond with customers through email or by telephone to correct missing or incomplete information.

  • Distribute incoming mail to appropriate recipients.

  • Scan and makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials for Team Member files.

  • Provide back up to the Receptionist during breaks, lunch and vacation.

  • Work flexibly in a team environment handling cross-functional types of inquiries and processing assignments to respond to peaks in department workload volumes.

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary range: ~$130,000 to $170,000, depending on experience

What you will be doing:

  • Provide strategic legal counsel to Commercial Heads within the Americas Region as well as global functions, including Operations, Procurement, Regulatory, Quality and Medical on a broad range of legal matters.

  • Support complex business transactions, including drafting and negotiating critical contracts, e.g., Consulting and Master Services Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, IT Agreements, OEM Supply Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Strategic Alliance Agreements, Logistics Agreements, etc.

  • Provide legal support on new product launches to help identify and mitigate risks in a highly regulated medical device industry.

  • Provide efficient, solutions - oriented advice to ensure PHC Group Companies are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, e.g., Open Payments regulations, the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, Medicare/Medicaid Fraud & Abuse laws, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act , HIPAA, import/export laws, and antitrust laws.

  • Identify, evaluate, and help support on compliance issues, applying good judgment and an understanding of business, legal, and regulatory principles related to medical devices and the healthcare industry.

  • Provide advice on marketing programs and contracted services, in view of the highly-regulated nature of the medical device industry.

  • Participate in the Legal, Medical and Regulatory (LMR) reviews of promotional materials, with the ability to anticipate problems and initiate actions to propose solutions.

  • Work closely with the Strategic Contracting team by supporting contract negotiations for retail rebate business, while demonstrating the ability to think creatively about challenging business situations and adapt to changing environments and priorities.

  • Handle other legal matters as may be assigned by Head of and/or other members of the Legal, Patents & Compliance department for PHC Group, including special projects, research support and advice across a wide range of legal areas.

What you need for success:

  • JD from a nationally recognized law school

  • Licensed to practice in at least one US state or the District of Columbia

  • 6+ years of legal experience, including at least 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating contracts

  • Experience in medical device/healthcare industry and knowledge of FDA and FTC regulations is preferred.

  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize heavy workloads, while exercising discretion and independent judgment.

  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of local and global teams.

  • Ability to learn quickly, synthesize input from a variety of sources, and think critically and strategically about ethics, risk and compliance.

  • Excellent analytical skills and communication skills (both verbal and written), with a high level of attention to detail.
