The Indirect Loan Processor reports to the Indirect Lending Manager and is responsible for the loan processing duties of the Indirect Lending Program.

Responsible and Accountable for:

  • Handles all loanpackages that are received from dealers and prepares them for funding.

  • Reviews loanpackages for accuracy and completeness, focusing on error-correction

  • Maintains ledgers,order supplies and acts as liaison between dealerships, Credit Officers,and Dealer Managers.

  • Purges disbursedloan packages of duplicate forms and unnecessary items before imaging.

  • Monitor workflows within the department to ensure that all deadlines are met, and resources are utilized effectively.

  • Set-up new dealer relationship and create new dealer/vendor records.

  • Administers dealerstatements and dealer reserve program.

  • Assist in handling escalated dealers/member inquiries and concerns in a timely professional manner.

Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:

  • Ability to identify and provide input for areas needing process improvement.

  • Ability to adapt positively to the changing needs of the role and/or department.

  • Ability to prepare indirect totals for monthly reports using lending system.

  • Ability to correspond with dealerships on missing documents necessary for disbursal of funds.

  • Ability to work closely with Indirect Manager to relay decision on active applications and help to obtain information needed on pending applications.

  • Ability to identify areas of efficiency and implement resolutions.

  • Excellent written and communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, Excel, the lending platform, and the core operating system.

  • Ability to comply with all state and federal regulations.

Education andExperience:

  • Education: Associate'sDegree or equivalent.

  • Experience: 1-3years experience as Loan Processor or equivalent position.

Reporting to the Director of Partner Services, the Branch Services Business Analyst will apply analytical skills to support branch service initiatives and execution of branch service strategies. This position will problem-solve through data, while thoughtfully incorporating product dynamics, marketing influences, and a wide range of member impact into recommended solutions. This position will gather sales and production data and report findings and suggestive enhancements to improve sales. This position will work in a collaborative environment on a horizontal team supporting all retail markets and contributing to analytic pursuits across the organization.

Responsible and Accountablefor:

  • Designs, conducts, analyzes, reports on, and manages branch and market production results

  • Develops necessary reporting using Excel and PowerBI tools and provides monthly metrics to show opportunities and trends.

  • Conducts research on member experience, services, and products via a variety of research methods

  • Assist management in establishing or enhancing the measurement of key performance indicators via new dashboards/scorecards.

  • Support market directors in ongoing initiatives from a data and analytic perspective and provide ad-hoc analysis as needed

  • Maintain and improve reporting for the Retail team, including providing guidance in forecasting and budgeting

  • Works closely with Data Analytics and Application Technology teams along with other organizational data experts to ensure validity and accuracy of data sources.

  • Participates on the analyst forum and ask forum

Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:

  • Possess an excellent analytical, strategic and financial acumen with the ability to think strategically and draw logical conclusions and exercise judgment in recommendations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access.

  • Demonstrated data visualization and querying (SQL) expertise. Power BI (Tableau) experience is preferred, but similar systems with transferrable skillsets (Looker, QlikView, Periscope, etc.) are acceptable

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing to staff, executive management and external business partners

  • Self-starter who can be hands-on and can analyze, interpret and derive insights into business reports, analytic models, and data sources

The Business Analyst - Core Systems is responsible to the Director of Application Technology for gathering business requirements for various supported banking systems, and data and report requests. This role provides analysis to programmers for development, and manages banking system vendor relationships. Coordinates upgrades and other internal and vendor system maintenance. Manages new banking system/application integration.

Responsibleand Accountable for:

  • Analyze applications that support banking functions and provide feedback and recommendations to Director of Application Technology. Banking Systems include but are not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) System, Auto Title Tracking System, Account and Loan Origination System.

  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for quality and efficiency improvements in banking system processes and procedures.

  • Function as Analyst/Project Lead for various Technology Dept related projects including but not limited to business intelligence, and internally developed systems/applications.

  • Interacts with end users to gather requirements for changes or modifications to existing applications.

  • Understands various departmental processes and functions that interact with supported banking systems.

  • Develops functional specifications per user requirements and provide clear scope for technical developers.

  • Participate in the design and testing phases, including design and testing of prototypes and orchestration and sign-off on acceptance test results to ensure design integrity.

  • Serves as technical and communications liaison between Application Technology and Retail and other operational departments for all banking system related issues.

  • Serves as technical and communications liaison between the credit union and our banking system partners/vendors.

  • Maintains disaster preparedness of critical banking systems, to include management of disaster recovery testing and ensures changes in operations are reflected in the disaster recovery plan.

  • Deliver project tasks within scope, quality and timeframe commitments made to the project team.

  • Utilize key stakeholders, business partners, vendor assigned resources and any other available resource to research, evaluate solution options and provide recommended solution approach for the Program/Project team.

The Indirect Loan Underwriting Manager is responsible to the Director of Indirect Lending for supervision, performance management, and recruitment of all Indirect Credit Officers. Additionally will assist with oversight of underwriting decisions, underwriting policy, quality control, dealer engagement, and communications.

  • Ensures compliance with all Federal and State regulations and Credit Union policies with regard to credit granting.

  • Provides coaching, performance feedback, and prepares performance evaluations for Indirect Credit Officers.

  • Monitors overall dealer performance including; application volume, quality, delinquency and losses.

Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively all lending decisions and counter offers.

  • Ability to review a variety of reports for trends and make recommendations to management from the data.

  • Experience with automated credit decisioning.

  • Ability to achieve and maintain high quality and timely underwriting decisions.

  • Ability to work outside of scheduled hours as needed to ensure loans are decisioned in a timely manner; this includes network issues and inclement weather closures.

The FinTech Assets Administrator reports to the Director of Business Analytics - Lending (DBAL), and is primarily responsible for the business relationship between Chartway and its FinTech and Participation partners. This position is responsible for executing participations and management of our Fintech partner relationships. Additional responsibilities include supporting Lending Analytics and Finance with reporting regarding the partnerships.

Responsibleand Accountable for:

FinTech Responsibilities:

  • Independently manages the implementation of new FinTech relationships.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with Fintech partners. This includes liaising between Chartway and its Fintech Partners in both set up of new relationships and post set up.

  • Develops strategy for monitoring partnership as well as periodically monitors each partnership to ensure compliance with agreement (buy box, marketing, etc.)

  • Develops analytics around portfolio FinTech assets as well as participated assets. Providing insights and comparisons to both.

  • Is subject matter expert regarding FinTech's products and processes and develops processes and procedures regarding FinTech partners.

Participation Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the sale or purchase of assets. This includes working with counter parties (as necessary) brokers, legal and internal teams in both purchase and sale.

  • Manage third-party due diligence of potential opportunities in purchases and hosting potential counter parties in a participation sale.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with our participation partners. Ensuring that any issues or questions arising from either Chartway or a participation partner is addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Provides detailed review of loan files and the associated economics of trades - both purchases and sales.

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Very strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a matrixed management environment. Working with different teams under different business units

  • Analytical background with proficiency in Excel

The Item Processing Specialist is responsible to the Support Services Manager for the accurate and timely processing of item processing reports including return deposit items, ITM/ATM transmissions and Remote Deposit Capture items, (RDC) on a daily basis.

Responsible andAccountable for:

  • Prepare and process daily exception reports as well as return deposit items.

  • Reconcile all related checking general ledgers daily.

  • Report errors and non-receipt of adjustments to our processor.

  • Promptly respond to requests on encoding errors, account adjustments, and check copies.

  • Process and adjust member accounts on return deposit items and RDC adjustments.

  • Accountable for research and resolutions for members, banks and interdepartmental requests related to share drafts processing.

  • Work closely with branches and Accounting to resolve prior day outages.

  • Perform periodic self-audits to ensure compliance with internal and external procedures/regulatory requirements.

  • Analyze and evaluate operational procedures; recommend and implement modifications to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Monitor work flow within the department to ensure that all deadlines are met and utilize resources effectively.

  • Compile data required by internal and external auditors and/or examiners.

  • Ensure month-end reporting and general ledgers are balanced with the coordination of Accounting.

  • Work closely with Support Services Manager to create operations metrics and produce monthly operations performance review document as well as lead special assignment operations projects.

Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:

  • Possess good judgment and decision making skills.

  • Communicate well both orally and in writing

The Financial Analyst II is responsible to the Vice President of Finance for analysis in areas of daily treasury activities, investment portfolio reporting, liquidity and cash reporting, and loan participations support. The role focuses on assisting members with their financial needs via the Video Banking platform while providing a consistent approach to service delivery, timely and accurate execution of processes and achieving desired experience goals. Responsible for accurately assisting members with their financial transactions on share and loan accounts as requested and providing information to members regarding membership, new accounts, loans and all other services of the Credit Union through the Direct Teller Machines.

Responsible and Accountable for:

  • Provide engaging member-centric service to members virtually via Video Banking Solution

  • Professionally provide first call resolution by assisting members and potential members with requests; answer questions about products and services including loan products; recommend products that will benefit the member.

  • Producing a pro-rata portion of assigned sales goals

  • Demonstrating the ability to optimize member contacts by meeting immediate need and uncovering additional opportunities to serve the member

  • Utilizing -available- time efficiently, consistently maintaining low -work- and -unavailable- percentages while meeting interaction performance standards

  • Complying with all member verification processes and transaction processing guidelines to mitigate risk and protect the member and the credit union for fraud or loss.

  • Sales and service responsibilities include identifying opportunities to sell credit union products; meeting/exceeding aggressive sales, cross-sell and funding goals; providing prompt, accurate and courteous responses to members; making financial recommendations; processing various complex financial transactions; effectively educating members basic financial literacy components and Chartway's products and services

  • Processing transactions using Video Banking solution - deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, opening accounts, loan applications, etc.

  • Building relationships with members

  • Problem solving issues that may occur with software

  • Provides timely, accurate and energetic support to members

  • Responds to internal and external requests via telephone, email, fax or written correspondence relating to products, policies, procedures and credit union services

  • Review and monitor e-Funds alerts for possible fraudulent activity, research reinvestigation requests and correct discrepancies

  • Deliver an exceptional member experience through ITM technology. The experience will include accurate and efficient transaction processing and friendly and professional service delivery.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience: Three to five years of financial services experience that include support or branch operations roles

  • Experience: Proven track record of progressed responsibility, demonstrating ability to master roles and assignments

The Internal Solutions Manager is responsible to the Director of Member Support Services for daily operations and management of the Internal Solutions Help Desk, ongoing advancement of the Virtual Help Desk-Albert and all support resources used to deliver the member experience. Responsible and Accountable for:

  • Championing serviceexcellence in all facets of the business

  • Leading and managing the InternalSolutions and Virtual Help Desks

  • Responsible for achievementof Help Desk SLAs and correlating enterprise targets

  • Collaborating with BranchSupport, Member Solutions and Training teams by sharing identified trendsand opportunities to develop more seamless front line interactions
